What is an engagement?

An engagement is when a recipient in a campaign visits two touchpoints.

What is a touchpoint?

A touchpoint is a point of interaction with a recipient. Typically, when a recipient is moved into a touchpoint they will receive a text message with a link to content.

What is a mobile keyword?

A mobile keyword is a single or multi-word phrase that can contain letters or numbers. People can text a keyword to the short code (abbreviated phone number) to join a particular mobile engagement campaign. For example, text ENGAGE to 27000. ENGAGE is the mobile keyword and 27000 is the short code. Monthly and annual plans come with one custom keyword. You can reserve and use additional keywords at any time for $10/month.

How many engagements do I need each month?

Determine the number of people you plan on engaging each month and multiply that by the number of times you plan on interacting with those people during the month, then divide by two. Each engagement is two points of interaction with a recipient. You can have unlimited touchpoints in a campaign.

What if I go over my plan’s engagement limit?

If you go over your plan’s engagement limit, no problem! You will be charged at the price per engagement of your current plan for engagement overages as you accrue them. We will also notify you via email if you near your engagement limit prior to the end of your billing cycle.

Is there a free trial?

Oh yes, there is! When you sign up for a new account, you will get a 14-day free trial that comes with 50 free engagements to play around with. A credit card is not required for the free trial. After 14 days or after you use the 50 engagements, you can select a plan and add your credit card. If you are not quite ready to select a plan, your account will go into read only mode.

Can I change my plan?

You can easily change plans in the billing section of your account dashboard. You’re welcome to upgrade your plan at any time. To downgrade your plan or switch to pay per engagement, please contact support@brightguest.com, and we can initiate the downgrade effective at the end of your current billing cycle (either monthly or annually).

What’s the difference between annual, monthly and pay per engagement plans?

Annual plans are billed as a single payment once per year at a discount of 20%. Monthly plans are billed at the beginning of your billing cycle. We offer a pay per engagement plan that is not a recurring subscription. Pay only when you send engagements. Add on mobile keywords for $10/month.

What payment types are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. For high volume plans and larger organizations, we can support invoicing. All prices above are in USD.

Do you offer customer support?

Yes! You have access to our customer support when you sign up for an account. We offer email support seven days a week and phone and live chat support Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm MST. We also have an online help center with various resources to ensure your campaigns are successful. We’ve got your back!

Is there a discount for nonprofits?

Yes, we offer a 20% discount on monthly plans and a 23% discount on annual plans for nonprofit organizations. If you are a nonprofit, select that as your industry when you sign up for an account and we will be in touch with you or feel free to email us at support@brightguest.com

What wireless carrier networks do you support?
